The garage was transformed into a pretty awesome play room. And who doesn't like an 8 foot tall Elmo?

New hat in rotation

The hat du jour is...my Santa hat. I've had it on for 5 hours now - including through my nap.

Yeah, I'm just looking at our tree in my flower jammies with my red stripey hat and my angel wings on. What's that on my hand? That's a sock*.

*I slept all night with it on my hand by the way.

An evening at the theater

Not the clearest picture in the world, but that's because it was taken at the movies. Yes, Katie went to her first movie this week(in her jammies, no less)! And it was a showing of "It's a Wonderful Life" on the big screen - the very big screen - of the Palace Theater here in Albany. There were a lot of people there (1000 maybe?) but we had a very comfortable spot in the balcony. Katie was very well-behaved. She sat in her seat for quite a while (and by that I mean she climbed into and out of her seat over and over and over). Then Katie and Daddy enjoyed strolling in the upstairs lobby and the in the upper section of the balcony. Katie did great, lasting through the first half of the film, through intermission and even through some of the second part of the film. Then it was clearly time to leave, so we did. "Hello you beautiful Savings and Loan!"

O Christmas Tree

I like these little Katie-sized trees. Can I get one for my room?

You can make me put the star on the tree, but you can't make me like it.

I'm gonna ruin this extremely photogenic Christmas moment by moving my head back and forth a lot.
