ballon festival photos

We went to the Adirondack balloon festival Saturday morning and it was awesome. We got up really early (left the house at 4:15 am!) and made it up there to see the dramatic sunrise liftoff. It's some photogenic stuff, so there's a lot of photos here. And there's video after this too.




It was dark and chilly when we arrived. Katie was cozy though.

Central Park, NYC August 07

Oh my God the Central Park Zoo was so cool. Here she's touching the glass of the very awesome penguin tank.


Katie liked the seals.

We we right up against the glass as the Polar Bear did "laps". Oh...my...God... Really, it was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced.



Ask her what we saw at the zoo and Katie says, "Polar bear's butt"
